The Laurentian University Archives serves to preserve and promote the memory of the University community, as well as the collective memory of Northeastern Ontario. The Archives must also meet the needs of teaching and research by ensuring access to archival material.
Located on the first floor of the J.N. Desmarais Library, the Archives are open to all.
We hold institutional archives created by Laurentian University, as well as non-institutional archival fonds from organizations and individuals from the Northern Ontario community.
Seven special collections are also housed in the Archives.
