Thèses.fr lists all theses defended since 2006 for French institutions who chose deposit their theses in electronic format (more than 6000 theses). Note that full-text access is not always available depending upon whether permission to post a thesis online has been granted by the doctoral author or right-holders of the thesis. In September of 2011, data from the Fichier central des thèses (containing over 66 000 thesesin progress in universities, primarily in literatuure, the social sciences and the humanities) were added to Thèses.fr.
