About the Library
The Library & Archives at Laurentian's Sudbury campus is accessed from the second floor of the J.N. Desmarais Library building.
The JN Desmarais Library & Archives is an actively used study and work space which offers a multi-disciplinary collection of approximately 600,000 printed books, close to 1 million e-books, 450 printed periodicals and 56,000 online journals.
There are group study rooms and a variety of seating and work spaces.
The Laurentian Library & Archives also encompasses the Archives and Special Collections, the Architecture Collection at the McEwen School of Architecture in downtown Sudbury, and collaborative resource sharing with the federated universities on campus.
